Self-guided walk leaflets
It's all well and good organising a series of led walks. But what happens at the end of the programme, how can you sustain it? In designing our walk programmes, we always have in mind that we, like you, are looking to have a longer-term impact on levels of walking activity.
Self-guided walk leaflets are one way for you to sustain walking activity amongst your group. As printed and online resources, they can be shared with newcomers, used repeatedly by members of the group, and broadcast to wider audiences as part of your outreach work.
Take a look at some of the walk leaflets that we have created, to support individual walking programmes:
St Stephen’s Health Centre walk leaflets
We published a series of ten leaflets, each setting out a 2-3 mile circular walking route from the surgery. Click above to find out more about the programme and to download a selection of the leaflets.
Tower Hamlets walking maps
We were asked by the Tower Hamlets active travel team to work with Walk London on a series of eight walking maps across the borough. Click above to find out more about the project and to download the maps.
Spitalfields Stories walk leaflet
As part of the Healthy Borough conference, we produced a Spitalfields walk leaflet that was included in conference packs. Click above to find out more and download the leaflet.
We can produce bespoke leaflets for you, from start to finish – devising the routes, writing the commentary, mapping, photographing, designing and printing. Leaflets can be branded with your group logo and formats are entirely flexible, to suit your needs. Get in touch if you’d like to chat through some ideas.
